Sectoral Classification with TOPSIS Method in the Context of Industry 4.0 – Digital Transformation

Özet

Endüstriyel faaliyetleri teknolojik olarak en üst seviyeye taşıyan Endüstri 4.0 felsefesi, işletmelerin ve makro ölçekte ülkelerin rekabet anlayışına yeni bir soluk olarak etki etmesinden dolayı endüstriyel toplum için büyük bir fırsat olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Dijital dönüşüm devriminin kaçırılmaması gerektiği konusunda ülkemiz henüz farkındalık yayılması aşamasındadır. Bu dönüşüm fikri, işletmeler için dünya endüstrisine yeni bir pencere açmakla birlikte zorlu bir dönüşüm sürecini beraberinde getirmiştir. Endüstri 4.0 dönüşümü için neredeyse tüm dünyada sektörel bazda çalışmalar devam etmektedir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada ele alınan asıl problem, Türkiye’nin Endüstri 4.0’a nereden başlanılması gerektiğidir. Endüstri 4.0 konusu, çeşitli çalışmaların ve araştırma raporlarının ötesinde karar verme yöntemleri için sağlam altyapıya sahip bir konudur. Tüm dünyanın hummalı çalışmalarına karşılık Türkiye’nin nereden başlayacağına karar vermek için elini çabuk tutması gerekir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin Endüstri 4.0 dönüşümüne hangi sektörden başlaması gerektiğine dair bir öneri getirilmesi istenmiştir. Bu amaçla ülkemizdeki mevcut altı adet temel sektörün istihdamı, verimliliği, ihracat-ithalat oranları gibi kritik karar verme faktörleri dikkate alınarak sistemin Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi oluşturulup Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemlerinden olan TOPSIS Yöntemi kullanılarak sektörel bazda bir sıralamaya ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

The Industry 4.0 philosophy, which carries the industrial activities to the highest technological level, is regarded as a great opportunity for the industrial society due to the fact that the enterprises and the macro scale influence the competition of the countries as a new breath. Turkey is still in the process of raising awareness of the fact that the revolution of digital transformation should not be missed. The idea of this transformation has opened a new window to the world industry for businesses and brought about a difficult transformation process. For the Industry 4.0 transformation, studies are going on almost all over the world. The main problem discussed in this context, Turkey should start from is that the industry 4.0. The issue of Industry 4.0 is a subject of sound infrastructure for decision-making methods beyond various studies and research reports. All the world's a flurry of activity in response to Turkey to decide where to start should keep his hand quickly. In this study, Turkey's Industry 4.0 transformation to which sector starting in the name of clarity, should Multi-Criteria Decision Making systems using TOPSIS Method with the Analytic Hierarchy Process created employment in the main sectors of the six existing in our country, productivity, export-import ratio as obtained by taking the expert opinion by taking into consideration the critical decisionmaking factors.
