Özet

Bir dilin iki ayrı lehçesi arasında anlam kaymasına uğramış or­tak yapıdaş kelimeler olabilir. Aynı yapıdaki bu kelimeler yalancı eş değerlerdir. Nogay Türkçesi veya Türkiye Türkçesinde anlam kaymasına uğramış bu tür kelimeler bulunmaktadır. Kelimelerin anlamları, Nogay Türkçe­sinde, genellikle Eski Türkçeyle aynı veya ona yakın iken, Türkiye Türkçesinde tamamen değişmiştir. Bu çalışmada Nogay Türkçesi ile yazılmış eserlerden taranan yalancı eş değerler listelenmiş ve örnekler verilmiştir.

Abstract

The two different dialects of a language may include certain words sharing the same structure but exhibiting a meaning slip and semantic change from one dialect to another. Such words are called "false friends". Noghay and Turkish include such words which exhibit meaning slips. In Noghay the meanings of these words are usually the same or almost the same with their counterparts in Old Turkish, while in the Turkish spoken in Turkey the meanings of these words have changed completely. This study lists and exemplifies "false friends", which have been identified through a scanning of works written in Noghay.
