Özet
I'nfertil 9rkek hastaiaYindegerlendirilmesinde testikuler sitolojinin etkinliginin biyopsi sonuglanyla karsilastinlarak incelenmesi. Hastalarve Yontem: I'nfertilite nedeniyle basvuran ve azospermi saptanan 19 hasta galismaya dahil edildi. Hastalarrn' tumunden biyopsi ve touch- prep ornekleri alindi. Bulgular: Her iki sekilde alinan orneklerin histolojikye sitolojik inceleme bulgulan arasinda tarn bir uyum oldugu gozlendi. Sonug: Testikuler sitolojik inceleme, .duktal obstruksiyon dusunulen hastalarda operasyona devam amaciyla testis biyopsileri ile birlikte kolaylikla^uygulanabilen minimal invazif, hizli ve guvenilir sonuclar veren bir tanisal
Abstract
The Value Of Touch-Prep Cytology In Testicular Biopsy- Objective: To investigate the efficacy of testicular cytology in comparison to testicular biopsy in the evaluation of male infertility. Patients and Methods: Testicular biopsy and touch-prep cytology samples were obtained from 19 azoospermic infertile men. Results: The histological and cytological examination results of samples obtained in either way were mutually consistent. Conclusion: The touch preparation cytology is a minimally invasive, sensitive and easy diagnostic test in the evaluation of infertile male and should be considered particularly in ductal obstruction cases to decide to proceed with reconstructive surgery.
