Özet

Kunt abdominal travmaya baglj sag proksimal ureter kaybmda vaskularize appendiks vermiformisin kullamlmasiyla bobregi korunan bir pediyatrik olgu sunulmustur. Appendiks izoperistaltik olarak ureteropelvik bileskeyle distaldeki ureterin ucu arasjna yerlestirildi. Travmatik ureter kayiplannda appendiks vermiformis interpozisyonunun, uygutemasi kolay ye komplikasyonu az olan bir tedavi segenegi oldugu dusunulmektedir.

Abstract

Appendix Vermiformis Interposition In Loss Of Proximal Ureter Due To Blunt Abdominal Trauma- We report a pediatric case of renal salvage by using vascularized isolated appendix vermiformis as a urinary conduit after loss of proximal right ureter due to blunt abdominal traunty. The appendix was isoperistaltically used to bridge the gap between the ureteropelvic junction and distal end of the right ureter. We believe that appendix interposition is a good treatment alternative in traumatic major ureteral injury with its easy application and low complication rate.
