Özet
Köpeklerde diş kırıklarına % 21A oranında rastlanıldığı bildirilmektedir. Bunun muhtemel nedenleri dış travma ya da köpeklerin ısırma veya yakalama gibi alışkanlıklarıdır. Kırığın en çok görüldüğü dişler kanin ve 4. üst çene premolar dişleri olarak saptanmıştır. Kırık eğer mina tabakasmdaysa sağaltım zorunlu değildir, fakat kırık diş pulpasma kadar ulaşırsa endodonlik sağaltım ya da diş çekimi gerekir. Tüm çalışmada İ.Ü. Veteriner Fakültesi Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı kliniğine getirilen 5 köpek ve 1 kedinin 12 adet kanin dişine uygulanan restoratif sağaltım konu edilmektedir. Olgularımızdan 2 köpekte travmatik aşınma defekti bulunurken, diğer köpekler ve I kedide endodonlik hastalık da saptandı. Endodontik hastalık bulunan olgularda endodonlik sağaltım sonrası screw postlu composite restorasyon yapılırken diğer 2 olguda sadece composite restorasyon uygulandı. Sonuç olarak, dileğimiz restoralif diş sağaltımlarını veteriner pratiğimize aktarmaktır.
Abstract
Teeth fractures were observed in 27.4 per cent of dogs examined. The causes are probably external trauma or activii.es such as stone chewing or catching. The most encountered teeth fractures were reportet as fractures of the canine and 4 th maxillary premolar teeth. If the fracture is only of the enemal layer, no treatment is necessary. When' fracture extends into the dental pulp endodontic treatment or extraction is indicated. In this study, restorative treatments and follow up of crown fractures of 12 canine teeth of 5 dogs and I cat which were brought to the surgery department of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Istanbul have been mentioned. While other dogs and one cat had endodontic disease, traumatic attrition defect were seen in 2 of 5 dogs. In the two dogs, composite restorations were applied. In the other cases with endodontic disease, composite restorations with screw posts were studied after endodontic treatment. Consequently, our wish is to transfer the restorative treatments into our veterinary dental practice.
