Özet
Bu çalışmada çeşitli deri hastalıklı köpeklerde tiroid hormon konsantrasyonlarının belirlenmesi ve bu deri problemlerinde hipoliroidismin rolü araştırıldı. Çalışmada 13'ü kontrol ve 24'ü deri problemli olmak üzere toplam 37 köpek kullanıldı. Deri problemli köpeklerin 7'sini de-modikosis, 9'unıı pyoderma ve 8'ini dermatomikosis, allerjik dermatitis vc alopesili diğer köpekler oluşturdu. Tüm köpeklerin T3, T4.fT4, kolesterol ve trigliserid düzeyleri ve deri problemli köpeklerin hematolojik parametreleri ölçüldü. Kontrol grubuna göre tüm deri hastalıklı köpeklerde T3 (P<0.05). T4(P<0.01) ve fT4(P<0.001) konsantrasyonları azaldı; Fakat, kolesterol ve trigliserid düzeylerinde istatistiki önemde farklılık saptanmadı. Kontrol grubu ile deri problemli alt grupların varyans analizinde ise, kontrol grubuna göre demodi-kosisli grupta T4'ün. tüm deri problemli alt gruplarda İT4'ün azaldığı gözlendi (P<0.01) Kolestrerol miktarı yüksek olan deri hastalıklı bir köpekte Larsson'un K değeri - 4.84 olarak ölçüldü: ancak, hipotiroidismin diğer bulguları gözlenmediğinden bu hasta hipotiroidism olarak değerlendirilmedi. Sonuç olarak, demodikosis ve pyoderma olaylarında T4 ve fT4 konsantrasyonlarının azaldığı bir kez daha gözlendi. Ayrıca, hipotiroidismin tanısında Larsson'un K değerinin geçerli olabilmesi için, hipotiroidismin diğer bulgularının önemli bir kısmının bulunması sonucuna varıldı.
Abstract
In this study, it was investigated that determination of thyroid hormon concentrations in dogs with various skin diseases and role of hypothyroidism in these skin diseases The study was conducted on total of 37 dogs with dennotologie disease, which 13 were clinically normal (control group) and 24 dogs with dermatologic disease. In the dogs with all dermatologic disease, seven dogs were found as demodicosis, nine dogs pyoderma and eight dogs dermatomycosis, allergic dermatitis and alopecia. The levels of T3, T4. FT4, cholesterol and triglycerid of all dogs and hematologic parameters of dogs with dermatologic disease were determined. T3 (P<0.()5), T4(P<0.01) and fT4 (P«).()l) concentrations were decreased in dogs with all dermatologic disease than control group, but cholesterol and triglyccrid levels were not significantly different in these group. In variance analysis of control group and subgroup with dermatol-gic disease, it was observed that T4 was decreased in demodicosis group than control group and IT4 in sub group with dermatologic disease than control group (P<0.01). 'K' value of Larsson's was calculated as - 4.84 in a dog with dermatologic disease and having high cholesterol levels; however, hypothyroisdistn was not diagnosis in this dog because other findigs of hypothyroidsm were not seen. In conclusion, it was once more seen that T4 and fT4 concentrations were decreased in dogs with demodicosis and pyoderma. In addition to, 'K' value of Larsson's to evaluate in diagnosis of hypothyoidism, it was concluded that important part of other findigs of hypothyroidism were observed.
