İzole hemihpertrofili bir olgunun sunumu

Özet

Eskiden hemihipertrofi olarak adlandırılan hemihiper plazi, vücudun bir veya daha fazla bölgesinin asimetrik olarak büyümesidir. Üç aylık erkek bebek polikliniğimize, vücudunun sol tarafının, sağa göre daha uzun ve kalın olması nedeniyle getirildi. Fizik muayenede sol ekstremite boyutları sağa göre daha büyük tespit edildi. Laboratuvar tetkikleri normal olarak değerlendirildi. Sol hemihipertrofi tespit edilen hastanın hemihipertrofi sendromlarından birisi mi, yoksa izole bir hemihipertrofi mi olduğu araştırıldı. Hastaya izole hemihipertrofi tanısı kondu ve hemihipertrofinin eşlik edebileceği çocukluk çağının embriyonal tümörleri açısından da değerlendirmeye alındı. Bu vaka nadir görülmesi, tanının zor konulması ve malignite gelişiminin normal popülasyona göre daha yüksek olması nedeniyle sunuldu.

Abstract

Hemihyperplasia, which was previously called hemihypertrophy, is the asymmetric growth of one or more part of the body. A three month baby boy has been admitted to our hospital in that the left part of the body was longer and thicker than the right part. In the physical examination, the dimensions of the left extremity were bigger than the right part. The laboratory analyses were normal. A study to determine if hemihypertrophy is one of the syndromes or if it is isolated hemihypertrophy has been performed. The patient diagnosed as isolate hemihypertrophy has been submitted to further analyses to evaluate the presence of childhood embryonic tumors that may accompany hemihypertrophy. This case has been presented because it is rare, the diagnosis is difficult and the malignity development is higher than the normal population.
