Abstract

Necip Fazıl Kısakürek is a poet who is known as a sharp polemicist as well. He often entered into arguments with his opponents in his life time. In Edebiyat Mahkemeleri (Literature Court) he settles accounts with Nurullah Ataç, who was still alive, and deceased poets Tevfik Fikret, Yahya Kemal and Mehmet Akif. He takes these writers to court. Necip Fazıl is both the prosecutor and the judge of this court. Therefore he makes both the accusations and the ruling. He judges these names on pure poetry and their World views. In the end they are all condemned.
