Özet
AMAÇ: Çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin AIDS'li bireye karşı tutumlarım belirlemek için AİDS Tutum Ölçeğinin (ATÖ) dilimize uyarlanması amacıyla metodolojik olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. GEREÇ VE YÖNTEM: Klasik yöntemle öğrenim gören bir hemşirelik yüksekokulunun üçüncü sınıfında bulunan 147 hemşirelik öğrencisi çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Veriler, 1991 yılında Bliwise ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen, test-tekrar test katsayısı r=.92 ve iç tutarlılık katsayısı °= =.86 olarak bulunan AİDS Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bağımlı gruplarda t testi, Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon analizi, Cronbach alfa analizi ve Kendall W uyuşum analizi yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. BULGULAR: 15 maddeden oluşan ATÖ'nün kapsam geçerliği için uzman görüşü alınmış, ölçeğin test-tekrar test güvenirliği r= .82, iç tutarlık için Cronbach a değeri .86; madde-toplam puan güvenirliği r= .27 - .70 arasında bulunmuştur. Alt boyutların test-tekrar test güvenirliği r= .54-.68 arasında, Cronbach 0.05). SONUÇ: İngilizce'den Türkçeye uyarlanan ATÖ'nün geçerlik ve güvenirlik düzeyi yüksek bulunmuştur.
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The study was methodically carried out to adaptation of the AIDS Attitude Scale (AAS) in our native language, Turkish, and use it to determine the attitudes of nursing students toward persons with AIDS. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study sample consisted of 147 third-year nursing students enrolled in a higher education classical nursing program. Data was collected using the AIDS Attitude Scale developed in 1991 by Bliwise et al, where the test-repeat test coefficient is r= .92 and the internal consistency coefficient is °==.86. The data was analyzed using the Dependent Groups t-test, the Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, Cronbach alpha analysis and Kendall W concordance analysis. RESULTS: Expert opinion was consulted regarding the scope validity of the 15-item AAS; and the test-repeat test reliability of the scale was found to be r= .82, with the Cronbach °= internal consistency coefficient <*= .86 and its item-total point reliability between r=.27-.7O. Test-repeat test reliability for sub-scales was between r= .54-.68, the Cronbach »= internal consistency coefficient between .46-.75 and the item-total point reliability between r= .47-.76. Test-repeat test point averages were similar for the scale and the sub-scales and no statistical difference was seen between the point averages of the two studies (p>0.05). CONCLUSION: Level of validity and reliability of the Turkish adaptation of the original AIDS Attitude Scale (AAS) was found to be satisfactorily high.
