Özet

Nöral tüp defektinin büyük çoğunluğunu oluşturan anensefali ve spina bifida en sık görülen konjenital malformasyon grubudur. Etyolojisi tam bilinmemekle beraber genetik ve çevresel faktörler suçlanmaktadır. Anensefalik olguların %65'i intrauterin hayatta ex olur. Anensefalinin antenatal tanısı gebeliğin terminasyonunu gerektirir. Bu fetuslar genelde doğumu takiben ilk 24 saatte ölürler

Abstract

Neural-tube defects, anencephaly and spina bifida, constitute one the most common congenital malformation of the group. The etiology of neural tube defects is largely unknown, but genetic and environmental factors are being investigated. 65% of anencephalic cases are ex during intrauterine life. The antenatal diagnosis of anencephaly requires the termination of pregnancy. These fetuses usually die in the first 24 hours after birth
