Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışma Van il merkezinde aile sağlığı merkezine başvuran kişilerin antibiyotik kullanımı hakkındaki bilgi düzeylerini değerlendirmeyi ve etkileyen faktörleri ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki çalışmanın evreni Van il merkezindeki bir Aile Sağlığı Merkezi'ne başvuran 18 yaş üstü erişkinlerdir. Araştırmacılar 30-31 Mart 2015 tarihlerinde aile sağlığı merkezine başvuran her bireye ulaşmaya çalışmıştır. Katılmayı kabul eden 154 katılımcıya literatür ışığında geliştirilen anket formu uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve ki kare testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların 106'sı kadın, 48'i erkekti. Son bir ay içerisinde antibiyotik kullananların %7,3'ü ilacı kendisinin eczaneden alarak kullanmaya başladığını, %92,7'si doktorun reçete ettiğini ifade etti. Katılımcıların %27,3'ü herhangi bir nedenle doktora başvurduğunda antibiyotik yazılmasını istediğini; %39'u evde antibiyotik bulundurduğunu belirtti. Katılımcıların %95,5'i daha önce antibiyotik kullanımı hakkında herhangi bir eğitim almamıştı. Sonuç: Katılımcılar arasında doktordan antibiyotik reçete etmesini talep etme ve evde antibiyotik bulundurma oranları yüksek bulunmuştur. Antibiyotik kullanımı ile ilgili eğitim alan sayısı oldukça azdır. Toplumun bilinçli antibiyotik kullanımı hakkında eğitilmesi ve akılcı olmayan antibiyotik kullanımının azaltılmasına yönelik çalışmalar yapılması farkındalık oluşturulması açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır.

Abstract

Objective: This study purposes to assess the knowledge of the people about antibiotic use who are admitted to family health center in Van city center and determine the affecting factors. Material and Method: Population of this descriptive study was all of the people admitted to a family health center in Van city who were over 18. Researchers tried to reach everyone who were admitted to family health center in 30-31 March 2015. A questionnaire was applied to all of the 154 participants who had consent to participate. For the data analyses descriptive statistics and chi square test were used. Results: Of the participants, 106 were female, 48 were male. 7,3% of the participants who had used an antibiotic in the last one month, had started to use by getting the drug from a pharmacy on their own. 92,7% of them said that a doctor offered it. 27,3% of the participants reported they requested from doctor to prescribe antibiotic when they had been admitted for any reason. 39% reported they were stocking an antibiotic in their houses. 95,5% of the participants take no education about the antibiotic use before. Conclusion: Rate of requesting for doctor to prescribe antibiotic and stocking antibiotic at home were found high in the participants. The number of the participants who had taken education about antibiotic use is quite a little. It is significant to train people about rational antibiotic use and to carry on studies about decreasing the irrational antibiotic use.
