Özet
Toxocariasis, kedi ve köpeklerin barsaklarında yaşayan Toxocara cati ve canis'in neden olduğu parazitik bir hastalıktır. Bu makalede epilepsi tanısı ile takip edilen beş yaşında bir erkek çocukta hipereozinofilik sendrom şeklinde prezente olan bir Toxocariasis olgusu sunuldu. Bu olgu sunumu ile paraziter enfeksiyonların çok değişik şekillerde prezente olabileceği vurgulanmıştır.
Abstract
Toxocariasis is a parasitic disease caused by Toxocara cati and canis which lives in the bowel of cats and dogs. In this article, a case of toxocarıasis in a 5-year- old boy with epilepsy who presented with hypereosonophilic syndrome is presented. We would like to emphasize that parasitic diseases can be presented with very different clinical pictures.
