Özet

Nekrotizan fasiit, mortalite ve morbiditesi yüksek, hızlı ilerleyen bir yumuşak doku enfeksiyonudur. Baş boyun bölgesinde nadir olarak görülür ve genellikle diş ve farenks kökenli enfeksiyonlardan sonra gelişir. Servikal nekrotizan fasiit tedavisinde başarıyı etkileyen faktörler; erken tanı, uygun antibiyoterapi ve cerrahi debridmandan oluşmaktadır. Abstract

Necrotising fasciitis is a soft tissue infection which has rapid progress and high mortality and morbidity rate. It is seen rarely in the head and neck region and usually occurs after dental infections. The factors affecting the success of necrotising fasciitis treatment are early diagnosis, adequate antibiotherapy and surgical debridement. In this article, we present a case of cervical necrotising fasciitis developed after dental infection
