Yapılan genital muayenesinde meş’in vagen ön duvarında dışarı çıktığı izlendi. Her iki hasta uygun tedavi yöntemleriyle tedavi edildi. Sonuç olarak TOT minimal invaziv cerrahi olmasına rağmen TOT sonrası komplikasyonlar görülebilir.

Abstract

The success of transobturatuar tape (TOT) in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence is quite high. It is safely preferred because of its low complication rate. However, complications can be seen. After transobturatuar tape application, there were two patients who presented with late complications. The first was a 48-year-old female patient who was admitted 7 years after the operation. As a result of the evaluation, 5-6 cm petrified mesh was found in the bladder. The second patient presented to our clinic, 6 years after TOT operation with complaints of lower urinary tract and sexual complaints. Genital examination revealed that the mesh had emerged on the anterior wall of the vagina. Both patients were treated with appropriate treatment methods. In conclusion, although TOT is minimally invasive surgery, complications can be seen after TOT operation.
