Bir buzağıda juvenil lenfosarkom olgusu

Özet
Bu gözlemde, iki aylık, Holştayn ırkı, erkek bir buzağıda juvenil lenfosarkom olgusu klinik, hematolojik ve patolojik bulgularla tanımlanmaktadır. Klinik muayenede anemi ve palpe edilebilen tüm lenf yumrulannda çift taraflı büyüme gözlenmiştir. Total lökosit ve eritrosit sayılan, hematokrit ve hemoglobin miktan, lenfosit oranı, MCV, MCHve MCHC düzeyleri sırasıyla 19.7xl03/mm3, 3.07xl06/mm3, %17, 5.1 gr/dl, %87, 55.37 fl, 16.61 pg ve 30 gr/dl saptanmıştır. Serumda BLV antikoru tespit edilememiştir. Nekropside, tüm lenf yumrularında simetrik büyümenin yanısıra parotideal (7x5x4 cm), preskapular (10x5x4 cm) ve subilici (8x4x3 cm) lenf yumrularının şiddetli büyüdüğü, özellikle Ln. mediastinalis cranialis'in (25x22x18 cm) göğüs boşluğunun ön 1/3'ünü doldurduğu tespit edilmiştir. Karaciğerin hafif büyüdüğü ve kapsülü altında boz beyaz renkte, diffuz alanlar içerdiği saptanmıştır. Böbreklerde bilateral olarak, kortekste 0.5-1.5 cm çapında boz beyaz renkte multifokal nodüller ise sol atriumun myokard'ında 2 cm çapında bir nodul bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, femoral kemik iliğinde de diffuz veya fokal sarımsı boz renkte alanlara rastlanmıştır. Makroskobik lezyonlar histolojik olarak incelendiğinde, aralarında tek tük mitotik figürlerin bulunduğu lenfosit ve lenfoblastlardan oluşan yoğun neoplastik hücre infiltrasyonlannın doku strük-türünü bozduğu ve hatta normal dokunun yerini aldığı saptanmıştır.
Abstract
In this observation, a case of juvenil lymphosarcoma in a male, 2-month-old, Holstein calf is described with the clinical, hematological and pathological findings. Anemia and bilateral enlargement of all palpable lymph nodes were observed at the clinical examination. Total leucocyte and erythrocyte count, amounts of hematocrit and hemoglobin, lymphocyte ratio, levels of MCV, MCH and MCHC were determined as 19.7xlO3/mm3, 3.07x10 /mm3,17%, 5.1 gr/dl, 87%, 55.37 fl, 16.61 pg and 30 g/dl, respectively. No antibady was detected against BLV in the serum. At the necropsy, besides the symmetrical enlargement of the all lymph nodes; enlargement of paraotideal (7x5x4 cm), prescapular (10x5x4), and subiliac (8x4x3 cm) lymph nodes were severe. Especially Ln. mediastinalis cranialis (25x22x18 cm) was filled the one of third of the anterior thoracic cavity. The liver was slightly enlarged and there was diffuse, greyish-white discoloration of the subcapsuler areas. In the cortices of both kidneys greyish to white mul-tifocal nodules of 0.5-1.5 cm in diameter and in the myocardium of the left atrium a nodule of 2 cm in-diameter were observed. Also, focal and diffuse yellowish-grey areas observed in the femoral bone marrow. In the histological exaamination of the macroscopical lesions, it was seen that intense neoplastic cell infiltrations composed of lymphocytes and lymphoblasts with rare mitotic figures had altered the normal architecture of the tissues and even had replaced with the normal tissue completely.
