Konya Bölgesinde yavru atan koyunlardan izole edilen campylobacter türlerinin tespiti üzerine çalışmalar

Studies on isolation and identification of the camplobacter strains isolated from aborted sheep in Konya Region

Özet

Konya Veteriner Kontrol ve Araştırma Entitüsü'ne 1990-1991 yılları içerisinde yavru atma şikayeti ile getirilen 101 koyun atık fetusu üzerinde çalışıldı. İncelenen 101 örnekten 11 (%11) adet Campylobacter spp. izole edildi. İzole edilen 11 Campylobacter susu oksidaz, katalaz, H2S (kağıt şerit), sodyum hippurat, çeşitli sıcaklıklarda üreme (25°C, 30.5°C, 42°C), %3.5 NaCI, nalidiksik asit (30mcg/disk), cephalotin (30mcg/disk) ve TTC (400mcg/ml) testlerine tabi tutularak identifiye edildi, izole edilen 11 Campylobacter susundan 8'i (%72.7) C. fetus subsp. fetus, 3'ü (%27.3) C. jejuni olarak identifiye edilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study 101 aborted feutuses of sheep brought to Veterinary Control and Research Institute during 1990 and 1991 in abortion season were used for Campylobacter /isolation in Konya Region. Eleven Campylobacter strains were isolated. The isolated 11 Campylobacter strains were subjected to oxidase, catalase, H2S (asetate paper), sodium hippurat, %3,5 NaCI, nalidixic acid (30 meg/disc), cephalotin (30 meg/disc) and TTC (400mcg/ml) and growth in different temperatures (25°C, 30,5°C, 42°C) tests. Of these strains, 8 (27.7 %) were identified as C. fetus subsp. fetus and 3 (27,3 %) as C. jejuni.
