Özet

Mukormikoz, yüksek morbidite ve mortaliteye sahip, nadir görülen bir mantar enfeksiyonudur. Rino-orbito-serebral formu sık görülmektedir. Bu formun tedavisinde amfoterisin B ve cerrahinin birlikte uygulanması önerilmektedir. Ancak bu tedavilere rağmen mortalitesi oldukça yüksektir. Bizde akut lenfoblastik lösemi tanılı hastamızda gelişen 3 kez cerrahi uyguladığımız eş zamanlı hem intravenöz hemde burun içi lipozomal amfoterisin B uygulayarak başarılı bir şekilde tedavi ettiğimiz mukormikozis olgusunu sunduk.

Abstract

Mucormycosis is a rare, emerging fungal infection, with high morbidity and mortality. Rhino-orbito-cerebral form is common. In the treatment of this form, it is recommended to apply amphotericin B and surgery together. However, despite these treatments, mortality is very high. We present a case of mucormycosis which we treated successfully with surgery for three times and simultaneously intravenous and nasal amphotericin B liopozomal application in our patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
