Özet
Yaklaşık 30 yıl önce, idrarla atılan allantoinin rumendeki mikrobiyel protein üretiminin bir göstergesi olduğu ilk kez ileri sürüldü. Ancak pürin derivatlarinin atılımı ile mikrobiyel protein üretimine ilişkin bir metot ortaya koymaya yö¬nelik büyük gelişmeler son yıllarda kaydedildi.Bu nedenle bu konuyla ilgilenenleri aydınlatmak amacıyla, pürinlerin bi¬yokimyası, idrarla atılan pürin derivatlarinin miktarını etkileyen faktörler, değişik kaynaklardan orijin alan bu derivatların geri almımını tespit etmek için kullanılan farklı yaklaşımlar açıklandı.
Abstract
The urinary excretion of allantoin was first suggested as an index of rumen microbial protein yield about 30 years ago. Major progress towards establishing a method to relate purine derivatives excretion to microbial protein yield has only been made in recent years. So that, the biochemistry of the purines, the factors effecting the amount of purine derivatives excreted in the urine and the different approches to estimate recovery of these derivatives ori¬ginating from different sources has been explained in order to guide for who is interested in this subject.
