Özet

Bu çalışma, Van kedisinde dili innerve eden cranial sinirleri incelemek amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırmada, 4 dişi 4 erkek olmak üzere 8 adet ergin Van kedisi kullanıldı. Dilin, n. lingualis, chorda tympani, n. glossopharyngeus ve n. hypoglossus tarafından innerve edildiği belirlendi. N. lingualis'in, n. alveolaris mandibularis ile birlikte n. mandibularis'ten çıktığı, m. pterygoideus medialis içinde 0,5 cm seyrettikten sonra chorda tympani'yi aldığı ve dilin rostral 2/3'nü innerve ettiği belirlendi. N. glossopharyngeus'un 3-4 kök halinde medulla oblongata'dan çıktığı; n. vagus ve n. accessorius ile birlikte foramen Jugulare'den cavum cranii'yi terkettikten sonra dilin caudal 1/3'ünde sonlandığı görüldü. N. hypoglossus'un, canalis n. hypoglossus'tan cavum cranii'yi terkettikten sonra a. lingualis ile birlikte seyrederek dil kaslarına dağıldığı gözlendi. N. facialis'ten orijin alan r. digastricus'un m. digastricus'u, r. stylohyoideus'un da m. stylohyoideus'u innerve ettiği belirlendi.

Abstract

This study was performed to determine the cranial nerves stimulating the tongue in the Van cat. For this purpose, adult four female and four male cats were used. Innervation of the tongue was derived from the lingual, glossopharyngeal, hypoglossal nerves and the cord of the tympanum. The lingual nerve sprang from the mandibular nerve along with the alveolar inferior nerve. The lingual nerve received the cord of the tympanum after coursing 0.5 cm in the medial pterygoid muscle, and supplied the cranial two-third of the tongue. The glossopharyngeal nerve arose from the medulla oblongata into three and four trunks, and terminated at the caudal third of the tongue after leaving the cranial cavity through the jugular foramen along with the vagus and accessory nerves. The hypoglossal nerve diffused the muscles of the tongue by coursing together with the lingual artery after leaving the cranial cavity from the hypoglossal canal. The digastric and stylohyoid branches originating from the facial nerve ran the digastric and stylohyoid muscles, respectively.
