Özet
Bu araştırma, Ağustos 1998 - Aralık 1999 tarihleri arasında Konya'nın merkez köylerindeki evcil hindiler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada 40 hindinin sindirim sistemi, 450 hindinin de dışkı örnekleri incelenmiştir. Sindirim sistemi muayenesinde hindilerin % 52.5'i çeşitli parazit türleriyle enfekte bulunmuş ve Eimeria sp.'nin % 37.5, Heterakis gallinarum 'un % 15, Subulura differens'm % 7.5, Echinostoma revolutum'un % 5, Ascaridia gallfnm % 2.5 yaygın olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dışkıların Fülleborn doymuş tuzlu su flotasyon ve Benedek sedimentasyon teknikleri ile muayenelerinde 111 hindinin (% 24.66)çeşitli parazit türleriyle enfekte oldukları belirlenmiştir. Dışkı muayenesinde Eimeria sp. ookistleri % 12.88, Capillaria sp. % 7.11, Ascaridia sp. % 6.44, Choanotaenia infundibulum % 1.55, Trichostrongylus tenuis % 1.33 ve Heterakis gallinarum % 0.88 oranlarında yaygınlık göstermiştir.
Abstract
This study was carried out on domestic turkeys in Central villages of Konya between August 1998-December 1999. Macroscopic examination of whole gastrointestinal system of 40 turkeys and microscopic examination of the fecal samples of 450 turkeys were performed. Various parasite species were determined in 52.5 % of turkeys. Eimeria sp., Heterakis gallinarum, Subulura differens, Echinostoma revolutum, Ascaridia galli were respectively detected at the rate of 37.5 %, 15 %, 7.5 %, 5 %, 2.5 %, in the macroscopic examination of gastrointestinal system. The fecal samples were examined by the Fulleborne's salt saturated flotation and Benedek sedimentation methods, and in 111 (24.66 %) of fecal samples were found to be parasitised. Eimeria sp. oocysts, Capillaria sp., Ascaridia sp., Choanotaenia infundibulum, Trichostrongylus tenuis and Heterakis gallinarum eggs were respectively detected at the rate of 12.88 %, 7.11 %, 6.44 %, 1.55 %, 1.33 %, 0.88 %in the microscopic examination of fecal samples.
