Tenafori uygulanan at ve merkeplerde adezyonları önlemek için silikon tüp ve polietilen glikolün (PEG) kullanımı

Özet
Çalışma materyalini deneysel amaçlı 5 at, 5 merkep ve 3 klinik olgu (2 tendo kontraktürlü ve bir tendo rupturu bulunan atlar) oluşturdu. Otuz ayakta M. Flek. Dig. Supf. lendosuna lenelomi yapıldıktan sonra, tenorafi yapılan tendo üzerine I. grupta (10 olgu) 3cm uzunluğunda slikon tüp uygulandı. İkinci grupta tenorafiden sonra % 5'lik Policlilcn glikol (PEG) 4000 solüsyonu döküldü. Kontrol grubunda ise lendo dikilip bırakıldı. Klinik olgularda tenorafiden sonra PEG solüsyonu dökülerek bölge kapatıldı. Klinik, makroskobik, histopalolojik ve ultrasonografik bulgular sonucunda, silikon tüp kullanılmasının tendo adczyonlarını önlemek için uygun olmadığı, PEG solüsyonunun diğer adezyonları önleyici ilaçlara alternatif olduğu kanısına varıldı.
Abstract
In this study, 10 experimental (5 horses and 5 donkeys) and 3 clinical cases (2 tendon contraclur and one tendon ruptured horses) were used. The tenolomy and tenorr-haphy of the superficial digital flexor tendons were carried out on 30 legs which were equally divided into threegroups. 3 cm long silicon tubes and 5 % PEG 4000 Solution was placed around the tendons of the clinical cases after tenorrhaphy. As a result, the clinic, macroscopic, histopathologic and ultrasonographic observations of the current study showed that while the application of silicon tubes did not prevent the development of postoperative adhesion, finding of PEG solution in this regard were suggested to be used as an alternative to other adhesion prevention methods.
