Özet
Bu çalışmada, köpeklerde karşılaşılan üçüncü gözkapağı bezi prolapsusu olgularının sağaltımında 3 ayrı operasyon yöntemi denenerek sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Birinci grupta yer alan 18 olguda prolabe olan bezin total ekstirpasyonu yapıldı; ikinci grupta yer alan 20 olguya modifıye Kaswan yöntemi; üçüncü grupta yer alan 28 olguda ise Morgan'in cep yöntemi uygulandı. Bezin total olarak ekstirpe edildiği 3 olguda postoperatif 9-12. aylarda KCS geliştiği; 2. grupta yer alan 7 olguda postoperatif 2-5.günlerde nüks şekillendiği ve yöntemin uygulanmasının güç olduğu; 3. grupta yer alan 1 olguda yine postoperatif 2.günde nüks görüldüğü belirlendi. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Morgan'ın cep yönteminin bu olguların sağaltımında en kolay uygulanabilir ve en başarılı yöntem olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
Abstract
In this study, comparison of 3 different surgical techniques at prolapsed gland of the third eyelid cases in dogs were aimed. In first group, the prolapsed gland was removed totally in 18 cases and after 9-12 months from the operation KCS was developed in 3 cases. In 2nd group modified Kaswan technique was performed in 20 cases and prolapsed glands were replaced by anchoring suture. Reprolapse was occured in 7 cases on 2-5* days postoperatively. In 3rd group Morgan pocket technique was performed in 28 cases. Reprolapse was occured only in one case on 2nd day postoperatively. Results of the study demonstrated that Morgan pocket technique is the easiest and reprolapse rate is lower than anchoring (Kaswan) technique.
