Özet

Bu çalışma, İslami evlilik siteleri ve kullanım pratikleri içerisinden bakarak, kolektif kimlik, aidiyet ve temsil politikalarına yeniden bir değer biçmeyi amaçlamıştır. Çalışma, kolektif kimliğin yalın bir biçimde psikolojik bir kategori olmadığını vurgulamaktadır. Çalışmanın temel varsayımı, kolektif kimliklerin toplumsal ağ üzerindeki denetimin sonucunda oluşan anlatısal inşalar olduğudur. Çalışma, kültürel sosyoloji yaklaşımı üzerine temellenmiş ve araştırma metin analizleri ve site kullanıcıları ile yapılan derinlemesine görüşmeler üzerinden sürdürülmüştür. Yaklaşım, Türkiye'de İslami evlilik sitelerine uygulanmıştır. Araştırma boyunca, İslami evlilik siteleri ve kullanıcı pratikleri sorgulanmış ve internet kullanım örüntülerine dair aşağıdaki sorular sorulmuştur. Dinsel bir kimlik üzerinden, kolektif kimliklendirme süreci nasıl işlemektedir? Bu pratikte, ideolojinin kimlik ve temsilin inşasındaki işlevi nedir? Topluluk üyelerinin gündelik yaşam pratiklerinde kimlik ve aidiyet pratikleri nasıl kurulmaktadır? İslami evlilik sitelerinin, kolektif kimlik – aidiyet ve temsil pratikleri nasıl işlemektedir? Çalışma; dinsel eğilimler ile kolektif kimlik arasında yakın bir ilişki olduğunu saptamıştır.

Abstract

This study has aimed a reappraisal to collective identity, belonging and the politics of representation reading from Islamic Marriage Sites and user's practices. Study argues for a robust notion of collective identity which is not reduced to a psychological conception of identity. The basic assumption is that collective identities are narrative constructions which permit the control of the boundaries of a network of actors. This approach is then applied to the case of Islamic Marriage Sites in the Turkey, showing how identity markers are used to control the boundaries of a common space of communication. Therefore study is based on cultural sociological analysis and the research is conducted textual analysis and deep interview on the site's user. This research is deal with Islamic collective identity and the construction of collectively in the case of Islamic Marriage Sites and during this research, some of the question has investigated. These questions have explored the relations between religion and the collective identity and at the end of this study has found, very close relationship between religious attitudes and the collective identity.
