Özet

Ömer Seyfettin, bir mefkûre ve dava adamıdır. Eserlerini içerik olarak bu esas üzerine geliştirmiştir. Türk edebiyatının en önemli hikâye yazarlarından Ömer Seyfettin, eserlerini olay hikâyesi (Maupassant tarzı hikâye) tarzında kaleme almıştır. Olay hikâyesi, Fransız hikâyeci Guy de Maupassant geliştirmiş ve dünya edebiyatında da çok tercih edilmiş bir tarz ve kurgu sistemidir. Bu tercih çoğu yazarda tesir derecesindedir. Türk edebiyatında Maupassant tesiri birçok hikâyecide mevcuttur. Bunlardan biri Ömer Seyfettin’dir. Ömer Seyfettin hikâyelerini olay hikâyesi tarzında yazmıştır. Yeni Lisân’ın öncüsü Ömer Seyfettin, düz yazılarında da Fransız yazarın hikâyelerine olan hayranlığını açıkça ifade etmiş ve Maupassant’ın birkaç hikâyesini Türkçeye çevirmiştir. Bu makalede karşılaştırmalı edebiyat bilimi çerçevesinde Ömer Seyfettin’in hikâyelerinde Guy de Maupassant tesiri üzerinde durulmaktadır. İki yazarın farklı yönleri olmakla beraber eserlerinde ve yaşantılarında benzerlikler tespit edilmiş ve karşılaştırılmıştır.

Abstract

Ömer Seyfettin is a man with a cause and an ideal. He developed his works on this basis. Ömer Seyfettin, who is one of the most important writer of Turkish literature, wrote his works as an event story(Maupassant story). Event story, which was developed by French storyteller Guy de Maupassant, is a preferred style and editing system in the world literature. This preference is very effective for most authors. Maupassant effect in Turkish literature is available in the works of many storytellers. One of them is Ömer Seyfettin. Ömer Seyfettin wrote his stories in the style of the event story. Ömer Seyfettin, who was the pioneer of new language, also expressed his admiration for the stories of French writer in his plain writings and he translated several stories of Maupassant into Turkish. In this article, the influence of Guy de Maupassant on the stories of Ömer Seyfettin in terms of comparative literature is emphasized. Similarities in their Works and lives have been identified and compared with each other.
