Özet

Bireysel emeklilik sistemi sosyal güvenlik sistemini tamamlayıcı nitelikte olup, yoksullukla mücadele ederek bireyleri daha sağlıklı ve güven duyacakları yarınlara taşımayı hedeflemekte, istihdamı destekleyerek kayıt dışılığın azaltılıp iş yaşamının çağdaş bir seviyede oluşmasına gayret göstermektedir. Bireylere tasarruf bilincini aşılamanın ötesinde ekonomik gelişimin sürdürülebilirliği toplanan birikimlerin uzun vadeli perspektifte ele alınıyor olmasını gerektirmektedir. Bu çalışmada, SPSS 13.0 for Windows istatistik yöntemiyle araştırma kapsamı olan İzmir ve Manisa illerindeki BES katılımcıları sosyo-ekonomik göstergeler itibariyle analiz edilmeye çalışılarak iller düzeyinde karşılaştırmaya ve elde edilen sonuçlar sistemin bütünü açısından değerlendirilmeye gayret gösterilmektedir

Abstract
