Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, self-adeziv rezin simanın tek başına ve self-etch adeziv sistemle birlikte kullanımının, rezin simanın kök kanal duvarlarına push-out bağlanma dayanımına etkisinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract

Background: In the present study, the effect of single use or combine use with self-etch adhesive system of self-adhesive rezin cement on its push-out bond strength to root canal walls was aimed. Methods: After root canals were shaped and filled, post spaces were prepared for each one. The post spaces were filled with self-etch adhesive system and dual-cure resin cement in the Group 1, selfadhesive resin cement in the Group 2, and self-etch adhesive system and self-adhesive resin cement in the Group 3. 2-4 slices with 2 mm thickness were obtained from each specimen and push-out test were performed on these slices (n=10).The values in newton were expressed in MPa and recorded. The failure types were also recorded and all data were statistically analyzed using Pearson chi-square, one-way ANOVA, and post hoc Tukey tests (p=.05). Results: The highest bond strength values were observed in group 3 (6,70 ± 2,93 MPa) and the lowest in group 1 (2,65 ± 1,70 MPa). Statistical significant differences were determined among the groups (p>.05). The combine use of self-adhesive resin cement with selfetch adhesive system was statistically superior to dual-cure resin cement. Conclusion: While using self-etch adhesive system with self-adhesive resin cement provides more bonding strength than dual-cure resin cement, it did not provides advantages compared as single use of self-adhesive cement.
