Osgood-Schlatter hastalığı: Yedi olgu

Özet

Aktif adolesanlarda diz ağrısının önemli bir nedeni olan Osgood-Schlatter hastalığının sık görülmesi nedeniyle özellikle birinci basamak hekimlerinin tanı ve tedavi konusunda bilgi sahibi olması gerekir. Fizik muayenede tibial çıkıntıda ağrı ve şişlik görülebilir; radyografilerde tibial tuberosit apofizinde avülsiyon önemli bir bulgudur. Nadiren cerrahi tedavi gerekebilmekle birlikte, asıl tedavisi konservatiftir. Biz burada hastalığın spesifik belirti ve bulgularına sahip Osgood-Schlatter hastalığı tanısı alan 7 olgu sunuyoruz.

Abstract

Osgood-Schlatter disease, being a common cause of knee pain in active adolescents, is a condition that the primary care physician should recognize and treat. On physical examination, the tibial tuberosity is tender and swollen; radiographs show avulsion of the apophysis at the tibial tuberosity. While the primary treatment is conservative, surgical treatment might be necessary in rare cases. Here, we present 7 patients with Osgood-Schlatter disease who have specific signs and symptoms of the condition.
