Özet

Giriş-Amaç: İş sağlığı ve güvenliği alanındaki bilimsel gelişmeler, mevzuat ve standartlarda güncellemeler ülkemizde yenileme eğitimlerinin zorunluluğunu tekrar gündeme getirmektedir. Araştırma, işyeri hekimlerinin ihtiyaç duydukları eğitim konularının saptanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç-Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı tiptedir, e- anket yöntemi ile Nisan-Temmuz 2018 tarihlerinde yapılmıştır. Yanıtlayan 561 kişi araştırma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Genel Müdürlüğü’nden izin alınmıştır. BULGULAR: Katılımcıların %36,5’i 20-29 yıl önce mezun olmuştur, %54,6’sı Türk Tabipleri Birliği’nden sertifika eğitimi almıştır. Yüzde 94,1’i halen, %56,2’si ortak sağlık ve güvenlik birimi bünyesinde çalışmaktadır. Yüzde 28,4’ü “sertifika eğitimi içerik bakımından yeterlidir”, %47,4’ü “sertifika eğitimi, sahada çalışırken ihtiyaç duyulan bilgi ve beceriler bakımından yeterlidir” önermelerine katılmadığını ya da hiç katılmadığını belirtmiştir. İleri mesleki eğitim için önerilen ilk 5 konu (kişi ve yanıt sayısına göre sırası ile) şunlardır: Görev yetki, sorumluluklarının hukuksal boyutu (%37,3-%12,5), sağlık gözetimi (%30,7-%10,3), sektörlere özel konular (%29,9- %10,0), işle ilişkili hastalıklar, risk faktörleri, tanı ve izlem çalışmaları ile elektrokardiyografi yorumlama (%27,6-%9,3), solunum fonksiyon testi temel değerlendirme (%25,8-%8,8). TARTIŞMA-SONUÇ: İşyeri hekimlerinin ileri mesleki eğitimleri planlanmalı, eğitimlerin kapsam ve süresinin belirlenmesinde işyeri hekimlerinin ihtiyaç ve talepleri dikkate alınmalıdır. Pratik uygulamalara yönelik beceri eğitimleri ve sektörel konular önemsenmelidir.

Abstract

INTRODUCTİON-Objective: The scientific developments in the area of occupational health and safety, the updates on legislation and standards bring the necessity for renewal training to the agenda again in our country. The research was conducted in order to determine the topics to be covered at renewal training needed by occupational physicians. Material-Methods: This descriptive research was conducted using the e-questionnaire method between April and July 2018. 561 respondents constituted the research population. Permission was obtained from the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety. Findings: Of the participants, 36,5% have been graduated 20-29 years ago, 54,6% have received certification courses from the Turkish Medical Association. 94,1% of participants were still working actively, 56,2% were working at common health and safety units. 28,4% and 47,4% of them disagreed or strongly disagreed with the statements that "certification training was adequate in terms of its content " and "certification training was adequate in terms of knowledge and skills needed for practice", respectively. Top-five topics suggested for advanced vocational training (by the percentages of the participants and responses respectively) were as follows: legal aspects of the authority and responsibilities for performance of the duty (37,3%-12,5%), health surveillance (30,7%-10,3%), sector-specific issues (29,9%-10,0%), work-related diseases, risk factors, studies on diagnosis and follow-up and evaluation of electrocardiography (27,6%-9,3%), and basic interpretation of pulmonary function test (25,8%-8,8%). DİSCUSSİON-CONCLUSİON: Advanced vocational training for occupational health physicians should be planned, the needs and demands of them should be considered when determining the appropriate duration and content of the training. Practical skills training and sector-specific topics should be particularly included.
