Özet

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı evlilik öncesi çiftlerinilişkilerinin değerlendirilmesidir.Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı tiptedir.Araştırmanın evrenini bir Ana Çocuk Sağlığı ve AilePlanlaması merkezine 15 Haziran-20 Eylül 2012tarihlerinde başvuran, ilk evliliğini yapacak olan 300nişanlı çift, örneklemini ise çalışmaya katılmayıkabul eden 164 nişanlı çift oluşturdu. Veriler; AnketFormu ve Evlilik Öncesi İlişkileri DeğerlendirmeÖlçeği kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerindeğerlendirilmesinde yüzdelik dağılım, ortalama,Cronbach Alpha, t testi, Mann Whitney U, KruskallWalls ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Araştırma kapsamına alınan nişanlıçiftlerden kadınların yaş ortalaması 24.18±4,81,erkeklerin yaş ortalaması 26,73±4,43, kadınların%28,7'si lise mezunu, erkeklerin ise %37,2'siüniversite mezunudur. Nişanlı çiftlerin, %56,7'sitanışarak, %43,3'ü görücü usulüyle nişanlanmıştır.Nişanlı çiftlerden kadınların Evlilik Öncesi İlişkileriDeğerlendirme Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının138,14±16,4, erkeklerin puan ortalamasının136,24±15,1 olduğu ve aradaki farkın istatistikselolarak anlamlı olmadığı saptandı. Sonuç: Çalışmaya alınan nişanlı çiftlerin evliliköncesi ilişkilerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract

Aim: The aim of this research is to assess thepremarital couple relationships.Method: This is a descriptive study. While thepopulation of the study consisted of 300 engagedcouples to get married for the first time, who cameto a Maternal and Child Health and Family PlanningCenter between the dates of June 15, 2012 andSeptember 20, 2012, the sample group comprised164 engaged couples agreed to participate in theresearch. The data were collected through aquestionnaire and the Premarital RelationshipAssessment Scale. Percentage distribution, mean,Cronbach Alpha, t test, Mann Whitney U, KruskallWalls and one-way analysis of variance were used toassess the data. Findings: Among the engaged couples included inthe study, the women had an average age of24,18±4,81 years and the men 26,73±4,43 years.28,7% of the women were high school graduatesand 37,2% of the men were university graduates. Itwas found that, of the engaged couples, 56,7% gotengaged after dating, 43,3% through arrangement.Among the engaged couples, the women had a totalmean score of 138,14±16,4 as the men scored136,24±15,1 on Premarital Relationship AssessmentScale and the difference wasn't statisticallysignificant.Conclusion: It was determined that the engagedcouples included in the study had good levels ofpremarital relationships.
