Özet
Giriş: Bu çalışma, Van Gölü çevresinde var olan atık su arıtma tesislerinin mevcut durumunu değerlendirmek, halk sağlığına etkisini, bağlı oldukları Halk Sağlığı Müdürlükleri aracılığıyla incelemek, mevcut sorunları belirlemek ve çözüm önerileri geliştirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu çalışmada, öncelikle Van Gölü çevresindeki Belediyelerden atık su arıtma tesislerinin durumu hakkında bilgi alınmıştır. Arıtma tesisleri 4 Haziran 2014 tarihinde yerinde incelenmiştir. Yetkililerden sözlü onam alındıktan sonra yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılarak bilgi toplanmıştır. Van ve Bitlis Halk Sağlığı Müdürlüğü Çevre ve Çalışan Sağlığı Şubelerinden Van Gölü suyunun geriye dönük analiz sonuçları istenmiştir. Bulgular: Van İline bağlı üç, Bitlis İline bağlı iki olmak üzere, Van Gölü çevresinde beş atık su arıtma tesisi faaliyet göstermektedir. Tesislerde biyolojik arıtma-klasik aktif çamur sistemiyle arıtılan su göle boşaltılırken, elde edilen arıtma çamuru susuzlaştırılarak depolanmaktadır. Van Halk Sağlığı Müdürlüğünün analizlerine göre; 2013 yılında Van Gölü suyunda kirlilik önceki yıllardan (2010-2012) anlamlı olarak yüksektir (p<0.001). Tatvanda alınan 3 örnekte pH ortalama değerden yüksek olup, diğer değerler mevzuata uygundur. Sonuç: Van Gölü çevresinde atık su arıtma tesisleri kurma konusunda çalışmalar son yıllarda hızlanmıştır. Mevcut atık su arıtma tesislerinin bazıları etkin çalışamazken, bazılarında insan gücü yetersizdir.
Abstract
This study is planned to evaluate the waste water treatment stations which are near the Lake Van and analyze the effects of these stations to the public health with the aid of Public Health Management Offices, define the problems and find solutions. In this descriptive study, firstly the information was taken about waste water treatment stations from the municipalities near the Lake Van. The stations were visited on 4th of June 2014. The information was taken by using face to face interview method after taking verbal consent of authorities. The retrospective analysis results were taken from the Van and Bitlis Public Health Management Offices about the lake water. There were five active waste water treatment stations near the Lake Van. Three of them were from the Van City. Two of them were from the Bitlis City. The water, refined with the biological treatment-classic activated sludge system, was emptied to the Lake. The sludge was stored after dewatering process. The pollution in the Lake Van in 2013 was higher than the previous years according to the analysis of Van Public Health Management Offices. The pH value was higher than expected value in three samples from Tatvan. However the other values were concordant according to the regularity. The works to build new waste water treatment station become faster in recent years. Although some of the current waste water treatment stations dont work actively and some of them dont have enough labor power
