Özet
Maküler delik retinitis pigmentosada merkezi görme kaybına yol açan sık rastlanmayan bir komplikasyondur. Etyolojide çeşitli mekanizmalar tarif edilmekle birlikte genellikle kistoid maküla ödemine sekonder gelişmektedir. Oluşan maküler deliğin tedavisi için tek yöntem cerrahidir ve tedavi sonuçları ile ilgili az sayıda yayın bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, tam kat maküler delik gelişen bir retinitis pigmentosa hastası ve cerrahi tedavi sonucu sunulmaktadır.
Abstract
Macular hole is a rare complication of retinitis pigmentosa which leads to central visual loss. Although several etiological mechanisms were defined, it usually develops secondary to cystoid macula edema. The only treatment modality for macular hole is surgery and there are only few published data about the results of the surgery. Here we report a case of macular hole and result of surgical treatment in a case of retinitis pigmentosa.
