Koroid hemanjiomlu bir olguda fotodinamik tedavi

Özet

Bu çalışmada fotodinamik tedavi (FDT) uygulanan sınırlı koroid hemanjiomlu bir olgu sunulmuştur. Maküla dışı sınırlı koroid hemanjiomu olan 39 yaşında erkek hastanın görme keskinliği 0.4 idi. Tümör kalınlığı B mod ultrasonografi ile 3.1 mm idi. Hastaya standart FDT uygulandı. Olgu periyodik olarak oftalmoskopi, fundus flöresein anjiyografi ve ultrasonografi ile takip edildi. Olguya 6 mg/m2 vertoporfinin 10 dakikalık enjeksiyonu takiben 5 dakika sonra 600 mW/cm2, 83 sn., 50 J/cm2 diode lazer tek spot çap kullanılarak 1 seans FDT uygulandı. Tedaviden 3 ay sonra görme keskinliği tama çıktı ve 1 yıllık takip boyunca herhangi bir komplikasyon gelişmedi ve görme korundu. FDT sınırlı koroid hemanjiomu tedavisinde etkin ve güvenilir bir tedavi yöntemidir.

Abstract

To report a case of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma treated with photodynamic therapy (PDT). A 39-year-old man with extramacular circumscribed choroidal hemangioma presented with a visual acuity of 0.4. Tumor height was 3.1 mm with B scan ultrasonography. Standard PDT was applied. Periodic follow-up was performed with ophthalmoscopy, fundus fluoresein angiography, and ultrasonography. Vertoporfin 6 mg/m2 was given as an intravenous infusion over 10 minutes. A diode laser with an intensity of 600 mW/cm2 was applied for 83 seconds (50 J/cm2) 5 minutes after the completion of infusion. The visual acuity improved to 1.0 at 3 months. There were no complications during the one-year follow-up and visual acuity remained stable. PDT is an effective and safe method in the treatment of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma.
