Özet
Yaşlanma ile vitreusta ortaya çıkan değişiklikler vitreoretinal hastalıklarda rol oynamaktadır. Yaşlanma vitreusta reolojik, biyokimyasal ve yapısal değişikliklere yol açmaktadır. Bu derlemede yaşlanma ile vitreusta ortaya çıkan değişiklikler gözden geçirilecek ve arka vitreus dekolmanı mekanizması ile ilgili güncel hipotezler ele alınacaktır.
Abstract
Changes in the vitreous during aging play role in a variety of vitreoretinal disorders. Aging causes rheologic, biochemical and structural changes in the vitreous. In this paper, changes in the vitreus during aging will be reviewed and the hypotheses for the mechanism of posterior vitreous detachment will be summarized.
