Özet
Küresel Grafitli Dökme Demire (KGDD) ilave edilen alaşım elementlerinin tür ve miktarları; matris yapı türü, mikroyapıdaki grafitlerin küreselliği, bileşikler, karbürler ve segregasyon oluşumunu belirlemede önemli bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu çalışmada temel alaşım elementlerinden % 3.5 C, % 2.8 Si, maksimum % 0.35 Mn ve minimum miktarda P ve S içeren ferritik matrise sahip numune üretilmiştir. Ni ve Cu alaşım elementi ilavesinin mikroyapıya etkisinin araştırmak üzere yukarıda belirtilen temel alaşım elementlerinin yanında Ni miktarı sabit tutulmak suretiyle belirli oranlarda Cu miktarı değiştirilerek (%0.6i 0.65 ve 0.7 Cu) ve Cu miktarı sabit tutulmak suretiyle belirli oranlarda Ni miktarı değiştirilerek (%0.5, 0.7 ve l Ni) 5 farklı numune üretilmiştir. Numunelerin mikroyapılan ferrit, perlit ve grafitin karışımından oluştuğu, Cu ve Ni miktarı arttıkça perlit miktarının arttığı, fakat Cu'ın perlit miktarının artırılmasında Ni'den daha fazla etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bütün numuneler için birim alandaki (mm2) küresel grafit sayısı 200-250'dir.
Abstract
The type and amount of alloying elements addition to Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron have an important effect in determining the type of matrix structure, nodularity of graphite, formation of compounds, carbides and segregation in the microstructure. In this study specimens with ferritic matrix were produced by the addition of basic alloying elements such as 3.5 % C, 2.8 % Si, max. 0.35 % Mn and min. amount of P and S. To examine the effect of Ni and Cu content on microstructure, 5 different specimens were producted by additions of basic elements mentioned above and keeping Ni content constant and varying Cu content at specified levels (0.6, 0.65 and 0.7 % Cu) and then by keeping Cu content constant and varying Ni content at specified levels (0.5, 0.7 and 1 % Ni). It was observed that specimens microsructures consist of ferrite, perlite and graphite, amount of perlite increased with Cu and Ni content, but Cu was more effective in increasing the amount of perlite than Ni. Number of spheroidal graphite per unit area (mm2) for all specimens were 200-240.
