Abstract

Articular disease is the second most common manifestation of Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) after abdominal pain. Joint involvement may be in two forms: short attacks of acute monoarthritis or chronic mono-oligoarthritis. Another possible form of joint involvement in FMF is seronegative spondylo-arthropathy (SNSA). In this article, a FMF case with SNSA which was diagnosed 10 years after his joint complaints had begun is presented and diagnosis of SNSA caused by FMF is discussed.
