Özet

Gelişen teknoloji ve şehirleşmenin çevresel açıdan getirdiği en önemli problemlerden biri, her gün hepimizin evinden çeşitli içeriklerde çıkan katı atıktır. Katı atığın toplanması, taşınması ve depo edilmesi önemli bir çevre sorunudur. Fakat, depo alanlarında oluşan depo gazının hem çevresel hem de insan sağlığı üzerine olumsuz etkisi düşünüldüğünde asıl sorunun burada olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Bu yüzden meydana gelen bu depo gazının olumsuz etkilerini en az düzeye indirmek gerekmektedir. Bunun için de dünyada çeşitli teknikler kullanılmaktadır. Bu tekniklerin içersinde en etkili olanı, ekonomik açıdan da düşünüldüğünde depo gazının yakıt olarak kullanılması ve enerji üretilmesidir.

Abstract

The most important of the problem that the developing technology and urbanization is the solid waste where it is thrown various contents from our home everyday. Collecting, transporting and storing of the solid waste are important environment problem. The landfill area produces the landfill gas. But if we consider bad effect about environment and human health of this landfill gas where it is produced in the landfill area, the main problem is realized. So these bad effects of the landfill gas have to be decrease the minimal level. For this reason, various techniques are used in the world. The most effective of these techniques, if we consider the economic aspect, are used the landfill gas as a fuel. Then produce the energy from landfill gas.
