Öğretim Amaçlı Bir Çoklu Ortam Yazılımı Geliştirilmesi, Uygulanması ve Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Araştırma çerçevesinde öğretim amaçlı bir çoklu ortam yazılımı geliştirilmiş ve geliştirilen bu yazılım 1998-1999 öğretim yılı Polis Akademisi son sınıf öğrencilerinden seçilen deney grubu üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar öncesi hem deney hem de kontrol grubuna ön test uygulanmıştır. Yazalım deney grubuna her öğrenciye bir bilgisayar düşecek şekilde Polis Akademisi bilgisayar laboratuarında uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubu ise, geleneksel yöntemler eğitime devam etmiştir. Uygulamalar sonucu son test deney grubuna bilgisayar ortamında, kontrol grubuna ise yazılı materyal olarak sınıf ortamında uygulanmıştır. Uygulamalar neticesinde her iki grubun da son test basan puanlan ön test puanlarından yüksek çıkmıştır. Ancak, deney grubunun erişi puanlarının kontrol grubunun erişi puanlarından anlamlı biçimde yüksek olduğu bu nedenle de geliştirilen çoklu ortam yazılımının Polis Akademisi öğrencilerinin başarılarını, araştırmanın sınırlılıkları çerçevesinde, önemli ölçüde etkilediği görülmüştür. Araştırma, polis eğitiminde öğretim amaçlı bilgisayar kullanımı konusunda gerçekleştirilmiş ilk deneysel çalışma olması nedeniyle önem taşımaktadır.
Abstract
In this research instructional multimedia software has been prepared and tested on an .{.experimental group. The experimental group is selected from 1998-1999 educational term senior class students of the Police Academy. Before experimental studies, pre-tests have been applied on both groups. The experimental group has individually completed the multimedia in the computer laboratories of The Police Academy within a planned time. Meanwhile, traditional learning methods have been applied in another classroom to the control group. After this, the post-test has been applied on the experimental group by using multimedia and on the control group by using written material in me classroom. According to this, post-test results of both experimental arid control groups were higher than the pre-tests results. However, it has been discovered that the achievement result of the experimental group is much higher than the achievement results of the control group. This research has a special value because it is the first experimental study on this field in Turkish Police Organization.
