Özet

Bu çalışma, Ankara’da 1960’lı yıllar itibariyle eğlence mekânlarının gelişimi/dönüşümünü bir iç mekân örnek incelemesiyle ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın mekânı, Ankara’da ideolojik ve planlama boyutu ile yeni bir yaşama modeli sunmakta olan Yenişehir Bölgesi içerisinde konumlanmıştır. Örnek olarak incelenmekte olan yapı, Atatürk Bulvarı, no.174’te yer alan bir yapının zemin kotunda ‘Kulüp Alpay’ (1966) adıyla Ankaralıya hizmet etmiş ve ilerleyen zaman diliminde ‘İlhan Feyman Jazz Kulübü’ (1970’li yıllar) olarak anılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Mimar Şevki Vanlı ve Yüksek Mimar Ersen Gömleksizoğlu tarafından tasarlanan ve literatürde sosyal tarih yönü ile incelenmemiş olan içmekân projesini ele almaktır. Makalenin diğer bir amacı ise gündelik yaşam rutini içinde eğlence anlayışı ve dönemin toplumsal gelişmelerini takip eden mekânsal oluşumları bir örnek inceleme dâhilinde inceleyebilmektir. Araştırmanın örnek incelemesi, Yenişehir’de, gündelik yaşam rutinlerini destekleyici nitelikli kentsel omurga, Atatürk Bulvarı aksına paralel konumlanan Kulüp Alpay olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın dönemsel incelemesinin malzemesini ise 1960’lı yıllar itibariyle yoğunluk kazanmakta olan eğlence anlayışı ve dönüşümü oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada sırası ile dönemin gündelik yaşam rutinleri, toplumsal gelişme, gece eğlencesi anlayışı ve örnek inceleme yer almaktadır. Böylelikle dönemin kentsel/kamusal mekânı ve gündelik hayatı, iç mekân ile ilişkilenirken yok olan gelenekleri, yaşantı biçimlerini sunmaktadır. Kulüp Alpay, iç mekânın yinelenen anlam durumunu taşımakta ancak öğütülen yaşantı biçimi bakımından hafızaya etki etmektedir ve tetikleyici bir unsur olarak yer almaktadır. Bireylerin yaşam biçimini değiştirici nitelikli özgün iç mekân tasarımı ve tarihi, güncel mekânsal çalışmalar için bir kaynak olarak ele alınmaktadır.

Abstract

This study reveals with the development / transformation of entertainment venues in Ankara in the 1960’s with an interior case study. The location of the study is located in Yenişehir Region, which offers a new life model with ideological and planning dimensions in Ankara. The building, which is being examined, served on the ground level of Atatürk Bulvarı, no.174 as ‘Club Alpay’ (1966) and was later called zemin İlhan Feyman Jazz Club, (1970’s). The aim of this study is to discuss the project which is designed by architect Şevki Vanlı and Master Architect Ersen Gömleksizoğlu and which has not been examined in the literature with the social history aspect. Another aim of the article is to examine the concept of entertainment within the everyday life routine and the spatial formations following the social developments of the period within a sample study. The sample of the research was determined as Club Alpay, which is located into Yenişehir parallel to the Atatürk Boulevard axis. The boulevard is chosen by the reason of had a notion of an urban spine supporting the daily life routines. The material of the periodical study of the study is the understanding and transformation of entertainment that has been focusing in the 1960’s. This study includes, the daily life routines, social development, and the night entertainment interface have been conducted as a case study. Thus, the urban/public realm and daily life of the period presents the traditions and lifestyles that have been destroyed in relation to the interior space history. Alpay Night Club carries a recurrent meaning of the interior, but it affects the memory in terms of the type of living experience and is a triggering element.The origin of its interior design and history leads the readers of this study a new scope of a source for contemporary spatial studies.
