PIETER BRUEGEL'İN RESMİNDE TEMATİK BİR İLİŞKİ OLARAK İKARUS'UN DÜŞÜŞÜ

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı; "İkarus'un Düşüşü Sırasında Bir Manzara" adlı eserin konusal bütünlüğünü ve tematik ilişkide sorgulanan düşünceyi ele alıp incelemektir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgularda "İkarus'un Düşüşü Sırasında Bir Manzara" adlı eser mitolojik bir öyküden yola çıkılarak yapılmıştır. İlk olarak Bruegel ile ele alınan konu kendinden sonra birçok sanatçı tarafından yeniden yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma içerisinde farklı sanatçıların aynı konuyu nasıl resmettiklerine bakılarak karşılaştırma yapılacaktır. Böylece hem yorum farklılıkları görülecek hem de sanatçıların plastik anlamda teknikleri sorgulanacaktır.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to consider and examine the thematic integrity of the piece "Landscape with the Fall of Icarus" and the thought queried in the thematic relation. The findings obtained throughout the research indicate that the artwork "Landscape with the Fall of Icarus" was painted under the influence of a mythological story. The subject that was first considered by Bruegel was later reinterpreted by numerous artists following him. How the same subject was painted by different artists will be observed and a comparison will be made based on that. This way, both interpretative differences will be seen and the techniques of the artists in terms of plastic will be questioned.
