A READING ON PARADIGM SHIFTS, THEIR INDICATIONS IN ART AND THE CHANGING MEANING OF CURATORIALISM IN PHILOSOPHICAL THINKING SYSTEMS

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, tarihsel süreçte toplumsal yapılardaki farklı dinamikler sonucu paradigma kaymaları ile şekillenen düşünce yapıları ve felsefi söylemlerin, sanat alanında gösterdiği değişimlerin ve bir sanat terimi olarak algılanan kuratörlük teriminin toplumsal anlamının incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Totalistik düşüncenin felsefi sistemlerinin temelinde yer alan Platon, Sokrates, Aristoteles ve onların izinden ilerleyen Descartes, Kant, Hegel ve Marx felsefeleri, 20. yüzyılın önemli düşünürleri, yeni paradigmanın savunucuları ve göstergeleri Gilles Deleuze ve Michael Foucault araştırma sürecinde örnekleme alınan düşünce adamlarıdır. Ardından sanat alanında antiklik, modernist yaklaşım ve postmodernizm üçgeni üzerine deneysel bir analiz yapılmaktadır. Kuratörlük teriminin bu birbirinin devamı olan tarihsel dönemlerde anlam ve amacı sorgulanmakta, sosyolojik açıdan incelenmektedir.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the social meaning of the term of curatorial perception which is perceived as an artistic endeavor, in the field of thought, and of philosophical discourses, which are shaped by the different dynamics of enduring paradigm shifts in social structures in the course of history. Plato, Socrates, Aristotle who are at the base of philosophical systems of totalistic thought and philosophies of their followers Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Marx, and the leading thinkers of the 20th century, advocators and illustrators of the new paradigm Gilles Deleuze and Michael Foucault were the thinkers sampled during the research process. Then, an experimental analysis on antismicity, modernist approach and postmodernism triangle is made in the field of art. The terminology of the term 'curator' is the continuation of these terms. In the historical periods, meaning and purpose are questioned and sociologically examined.
