Özet
Tarihsel süreçte bir eylemsel tavır ve estetik karşıtı olarak yıkım, farklı sanat türlerinde sanata kaynak oluşturmuştur. Kavramın sanat alanında uygulamaları, II. Dünya Savaşı sonrası kaos ortamında belirgin bir artış göstermiş ve Oto Yıkıcı Sanat, Sanatta Yıkım Sempozyumu kapsamında sanatın varlık nedeni olarak kabul edilmiştir. Oto Yıkıcı sanatçılar, Gustav Meztger ve Raphael Montanez Ortiz tarafından yazılan manifestolar ile ilkeleri belirlenen yıkıcı sanat, psikolojik, sosyal ve politik şiddete karşı bir direniş biçimi olarak kullanılmıştır. Politik eylemlerle, radikal sanat hareketlerini birleştiren Gustav Metzger ve yıkım kavramı çerçevesinde gerçekleştirdiği çalışmaları, yıkıcı sanat anlayışının gelişmesinde belirgin rol oynamıştır. Oto Yıkıcı Sanat, Sanatta Yıkım Sempozyumu ve Gustav Metzger pratikleri kapsamında gelişim gösteren yıkıcı sanatın tarihsel gelişim süreci, kapsamı ve işlevi araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır.
Abstract
Destruction as an actional stance and aesthetic opposition in the historical process, has created a source for art in different types of art. Application of the concept in art has been significantly increased after World War II in the chaotic environment and Auto Destructive Art has been accepted as the reason of the existence of art within the scope of the Destruction in Art Symposium. Destructive art is set out principles with manifestos are written by Gustav Meztger and Raphael Montanez Ortiz, who are Auto Destructive artists,and used as a form of resistance to psychological, social and political violence. Gustav Metzger, who combines political actions with radical art movements pursues the concept of destruction and takes a significant role in the development of destructive art. The subject of the research is the historical development process, scope and function of destructive art which developed within the scope of Auto Destructive Art, Destruction in Art Symposium and Gustav Metzger practices.
