Özet
AMAÇ: Kliniğimizde Ekim 1989 - Mart 1997 tarihleri arasında yapılan penetran keratoplasti ameliyatları değerlendirildi. YÖNTEM: Değişik tanılar nedeniyle 752 hastanın 811 gözüne 915 penetran keratoplasti uygulanmıştır. Çalışmamıza bu hastalardan takiplere gelen 731 hastaya uygulanan 821 penetran keratoplasti dahil edilmiştir. Olgularımız en az 4 ay, en fazla 89 ay ortalama 46.5 ay takip edilmiştir. BULGULAR: Ekim 1989 - Mart 1997 tarihleri arasında takip edilen 821 olgunun 608'inde (%74.1) grefon şeffaf bulunmuştur. 607 olguda (%73.9) görme keskinliğinde artma sağlanmıştır. SONUÇ: Olgularımız içerisinde en iyi sonuç; Keratokonus nedeni ile penetran keratoplasti yapılan olgularda alınırken en başarısız sonuçlar bakteriyal keratit ve kimyasal yanık nedeni ile penetran keratoplasti yapılan olgularda alınmıştır.
Abstract
PURPOSE: Penetrating keratoplasty was evaluated between October 1989 and March 1997 in our clinic. METHODS: 915 penetrating keratoplasty operations have been performed on 811 eyes of 752 patients in our clinic. 731 patients of 821 penetrating keratoplasty were followed in our study. The follow up periods of our cases were between four months and eighty-nine months, the average follow up period was 46.5 months. RESULT: The graft was found clear in 608 eyes of 821 cases (74.1%) which were followed up between October 1989 and March 1997. Visual rehabilitation was obtained was 607 cases (73.9%). CONCLUSION: Best results were obtained in keratoconus and the worst results were obtained in bacterial keratitis and chemical burns.
