Özet

Kuru göz alanında en önemli değişikliklerden biri; tanıma, semptomların ve görme bozukluğunun eklenmesi olmuştur.Fonksiyonel görme testlerinin, çok amaçlı semptom anketleri ve görüntüleme yöntemlerinin geliştirilmesi bunda etkili olmuştur. Kuru göz tanısı konusunda heyecan verici gelişmeler yaşanmaktadır. İkinci Uluslararası Kuru Göz Çalışma Kurultayıbu yenilikleri bilimsel dayanak açısından halen değerlendirmekte olup, sonuçlarını bir rapor halinde 2016 yılı içerisinde yayınlayacaktır

Abstract

One of the most important changes in the field of dry eye diagnosis was the addition of symptoms and visual disturbance tothe definition of dry eye disease. Development of functional visual acuity testing, multi purpose symptom questionnaires andimaging technologies have been the influential factors. There are still many exciting developments in the field of dry eye diagnosis. The second international dry eye workshop is currently evaluating the evidence for these new developments, the results of which will be delivered in 2016
