Abstract

Congenital hyperpigmentation of episclera and uveal structures is named as "Oculodermal melanocytosis" (ota nevus) if it goes with dermal melanocytosis. It is reported that the incidence of uveal malignant melano¬ma, pigmentation of optic nerve and diffuse hyperpig¬mentation of choroid is high for the eyes with oculoder¬mal melanocytosis. However, the incidence of nevus is not reported. Choroid nevus may rarely effect the vi¬sion because of subretinal neovascular membrane or su¬bretinal fluid and serous detachment. This is a case of oculodermal melanocytosis with optic, disc and choroi-dal melanocytoma, and serous macular detachment.
