Konjenital aniridide göz bulguları ve tedavi yaklaşımları

Özet

Dördü ailesel, 2'si sporadik tipte olmak üzere toplam 6 aniridili ol¬gu incelendi. Olguların tümünde total aniridi ve fovea hipoplazisi, 4'ünde katarakt, 2'sinde lens dislokasyonu, l'inde vaskülarize pan-nus, 2'sinde glokom, l'inde optik disk hipoplazisi ile birlikte optik atrofi ve 5'inde nistagmus izlenmekteydi. Glokomu olan iki olguya medikal tedavi uygulandı. Bir olguya fakoemulsifikasyon yöntemi İle kapsül içi GİL implantasyonu yapıldı ve bu cerrahi girişimin so¬nucu başarılı bulundu. Konjenital aniridide göz bulgularının şiddeti¬nin olgudan olguya değişebildiği ve bu olgularda katarakt cerrahi¬sinde gelişen tekniklerle var olan görme kapasitesinin maksimum düzeyde kullanılın asının mümkün olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

Abstract

The Eye Signs and Treatment Modalities in Congenital Aniridia A total of six patients, 4 with familial and 2 with spora¬dic aniridia were examined. All of the cases were found to have bilateral total aniridia and foveal hypoplasia. Four of the patients had cataract, 2 had dislocated lenses, 2 had glaucoma in two patients were controlled with medical treatment. In one patient with cataract, surgery was carried out with phacoemulsification and PC IOL implantation. Postoperative result was favoura¬ble in that case. It was observed that the severity of eye findings may alter depending on the individual case and by the use of modem cataract surgery techniques it could be possible to the reach the maximal visual capa¬city of the eye.
