Sistinozisli bir olgunun göz bulguları

Özet

Sistinozis otozomal resesif geçişli, birçok doku ve organda hücre içi sistin birikimi ile karakterize metabolik bir hastalıktır. Sık görülen göz bulguları, kornea ve konjonktivada sistin birikintileri ve retinada pigmenter retinopatidir. Nefropatik ve nispeten daha hafif seyirli non-nefropatik olarak iki farklı formu tarif edilmiştir. Non-nefropatik form oküler sistinozis olarak da adlandırılmıştır. Bu yazıda sistinozisli bir hastanın oftalmik bulguları sunulmuştur

Abstract

Cystinosis is an autosomal recessive metabolic disorder characterized by intracellular accummulation of cystine crystals in organs and tissues.Corneal, conjunctival crystals and pigmentary retinopathy are the most common ocular manifestations. Two forms of the disease were defined: nephropathic and nonnephropathic. Non- nephropathic form, also called ocular cystinosis is the benign form of this disorder. In this case report we aimed to define ocular findings of a patient with cystinosis
