Özet
Amaç:Oküler hipertansiyonda (OHT), patern elektroretinografi (PERG), Heidelberg retina tomografi (HRT) ve tarayıcı laserpolarimetri (GDx) arasındaki ilişkiyi saptamak. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya 27 oküler hipertansiyonlu olgunun 27 gözü (Grup 1) dahil edildi. Kontrol grubunu 20 normal olgu (Grup 2) oluşturdu. Tüm olgulara bilgisayarlı görme alanı (Humphrey santral 30-2 tam eşik testi) ve PERG yapıldı, optik sinir başı HRT ve GDx ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Grup l'in 22 si kadın, 5 i erkek, grup 2'nin ise 14'ü kadın 6'sı erkekti.
Abstract
Purpose: To detect the relationship between pattern electroretinography (PERG), Heidelberg retina tomograph (HRT), and scanning laser polarimetry (GDx) in ocular hypertension (OHT). Materials and Methods: The study included 27 eyes of 27 patients with OHT (Group 1). The control group consisted of 20 normal subjects (Group 2). Automatedperimetry (Humphrey central 30-2, full threshold test) and PERG were performed and optic nerve head was evaluated with HRT and GDx for all subjects. Results: There were 19 males and 26 females in group 1 and 14 female and 6 male in group 2. Mean rim volume, retinal nerve fiber layer thickness, superior/nasal ratio, elips modulation and P50 latance values were detected significantly lower for patients with OHT than control group. There was an inverse correlation between cup area and N95 amplitude (r=-0,404, p=0,037) and positive correlation between inferior average and PSO amplitude in GDx (r=0,420, p=0,029). Conclusion: In OHT, PERG and quantitative analysis of optic nerve with HRT and GDx, can complement each other in early identification optic nerve damage.
