Abstract
Aim: The aim of this study was to determinate the flexural strength values of different hybrid and packable composite resin materials after applied three-points bending test. Material and Methods: In study; five composite resins (four hybrid composite resins: Herculite-XRV, Tetric-Ceram, Valux-P, Filtek Z-250 and one packable composite resin: Filtek P-60) were used and five test groups were determinated (n=I0). Specimens were prepared at size of 2x2x25 mm. They were stored at distilled water for 24 hours at room temperature after polymerization and then three points bending test was applied to all specimens with Lloyd LRX Universal test machine according to ISO 10477. Data was determined with One-Way ANOVA and Duncan Multiple Comparison Test statistically using SPSS software computer programme (p<0.05). Results: In study; it was observed that, flexural strength of Valux-P, Filtek Z-250 and Filtek P-60 materials have shown difference than Herculite XRV and Tetric-Ceram materials and Valux-P, Filtek Z-250 and Filtek P-60 materials have provided higher values of flexural strength significantly (p<0.05). Conclusion: This in vitro study concluded that Valux-P and Filtek Z-250 hybrid composite materials and Filtek P-60 packable composite material have highly flexural strength and according to these results, each three materials have good physical material properties to prefer clinical using.
