Apendiks torsiyonunu taklit eden perfore akut apandisit: Olgu sunumu

Özet

Akut apandisit en sık cerrahi acillerden biridir. Apendiks torsiyonu ise nadir bir antite olup preoperatif olarak akut apandisitten ayırılamayabilir. Akut apandisit tanısında kli- nik bulgular önemli olmakla birlikte kliniği tam oturmamış olgularda görüntüleme yöntemleri tanıya katkı sağlamak- tadır. Bu olgu sunumunda, yaygın karın ağrısı şikayeti ile acile başvuran, sonografik olarak apendiks torsiyonu dü- şündüren bulguları olan ancak cerrahi olarak akut perfore apandisit tanısı alan hasta anlatılmıştır.

Abstract

Acute appendicitis is one of the most common surgical emergencies. Torsion of the appendix is a rare entity which can mimick acute appendicitis preoperatively. While cli- nical findings are important in the diagnosis of acute ap- pendicitis, radiologic imaging modalities contribute to the diagnosis in patients with unclear clinical features. In this case, we present a patient who was admitted to the emer- gency room with the complaint of diffuse abdominal pain and had sonographic findings suggestive of torsion of the appendix but finally diagnosed as acute perforated appen- dicitis in surgery.
