Özet
ơdrîs-i Bidlîsî, (1457–1520) modern araƾtrmaclarn üzerinde sklkla durduƭu, günümüz tarih yazmnda da hafzalarda canl kalabilen, devam edegelen baz tarihsel tartƾmalarn bugün dahi merkezinde olan 16. yüzyl Osmanl dünyasnn nadir figürlerinden biridir. Bir bürokrat ve tarihçi olarak o, 15. yüzyl sonu ve 16. yüzyln baƾnda önce Osmanl-Akkoyunlu, ardndan Osmanl-Memlük ve Osmanl-Safevi çekiƾmesinin olduƭu oldukça çalkantl bir dönemde yaƾad ve birbirine düƾman olan bu her dört hanedan ile de farkl zamanlarda iliƾki kurdu. Çoƭunlukla II. Bayezid’in ve I. Selim’in himayesiyle anlsa da aslnda, yaƾadƭ siyasal atmosferde birden fazla hami edinme teƾebbüslerinde bulundu. Bunlardan biri de hiç kuƾkusuz Ɨah ơsmail’dir. Burada yeni bulunan bir belge üzerinden Bidlîsî’nin II. Bayezid’in himayesinden çkmasnn ardndan daha ơstanbul’da iken planladƭ üzere yeni bir hami bulmak adna geldiƭi Mekke’de Ɨah ơsmail’e intisap etme çabas ortaya konulmuƾtur
Abstract
Idrîs-J BJdlîsî (ǠǣǤǦ–ǠǤǡǟ) Js undoubtedly one of the most orJgJnal and Jmportant Jntellectual fJgures Jn the Ǡǥth-century Ottoman world. As a bureaucrat and hJstorJan of IranJan provenance, he lJved Jn a very turbulent perJod of the Ottoman-Aqquyunlu, Ottoman-Mamluk and Ottoman-SafavJd rJvalry [rJvalrJes] at the end of the ǠǤth century and at the begJnnJng of the Ǡǥth century. He establJshed relatJonshJps at dJfferent tJmes wJth each of these four dynastJes whJch were hostJle to each other. Although he Js remembered for beJng under the patronage of BayezJd II and SelJm I, Jn fact he attempted to seek patronage of dJfferent dynastJes Jn thJs polJtJcal atmosphere. No doubt one of the potentJal patrons was Shah IsmaJl. In the lJght of a recently dJscovered document thJs artJcle dJscusses BJdlîsî’s aJm to fJnd a new patron Jn the person of the Shah, an Jdea he conceJved Jn Istanbul after leavJng BayezJd II’s patronage, durJng hJs sojourn Jn Mecca where he travelled for realJzJng thJs aJm.
